I've definitely heard Desdemona...and like I said, I think I've heard it with a name very similar to the one Alyssa suggested.

Delano is a gothicy last name. It means "of the night" in old french.
I actually have a sim who is a decendant from the Goth family named Delano; he's Mortimors grandson, actually.
Desdemona Delano is very gothicy.

Anyhoo, it's my middle name I don't like much. I mean, I like it just fine, it just doesn't fit with the rest of my name. But I'm glad you like yours.

I have a very common middle name, Marie. But, it was my grandmother's first name (my father's mother). My sister's middle name is after my other grandmother (my mother's mother), Elaine.
Jennifer Marie and Michelle Elaine.

My name was supposed to be Johanna Marie, but no one liked Johanna. I like it, lol. They were gonna call me Joey as a nickname, after my dad, since his name is Joseph.
