Re: What kind of builder are you for your sims? - Babysback64 - 18-03-2008 03:48 AM Yea I do that sometimes too. I remember when I first got the game, every wall had paintings on it, every window had curtains . Now,*shrugs* I figure, no one is really looking in on my sims running around in their undies anyway!! lol Re: What kind of builder are you for your sims? - BrokenHeartTheory - 18-03-2008 03:53 AM Well, I'd like to think I'm pretty good at building houses. I'm terrible at landscaping, though. and some people have made AMAZING houses that put mine to shame. I need to finish building that mansion sometime... and I usually make residential lots. Re: What kind of builder are you for your sims? - MissTory - 18-03-2008 10:53 AM i normally make realistic homes. There's no point making a MASSIVE house on a MASSIVE lot, whith 100 double beds for about 2 people. I know a mate who just did that, ended up with her person dying cos it took to long to actually move around the house. Yer, i know what you mean about the curtain thing, but then i think, in real life, dnt windows look boring without curtains? my little simmies should have the best... One thing that does annoy me, that you cant make inbetween floors. Like, if you wanted your kitchen to be down a step, like in a cottage, you'd have to make it all the way down another level... Re: What kind of builder are you for your sims? - jsmlw - 18-03-2008 12:13 PM I don't have one particular style, I usually do what ever I'm feeling, be it traditional, craftsman, colonial, victorian, or farmhouse. I used to take requests for houses at modthesims2.com, I even became a featured creator, you can find my 19 homes here: http://modthesims2.com/member/jsmlw Re: What kind of builder are you for your sims? - Babysback64 - 18-03-2008 02:03 PM Cool! ThanksĀ ;D Re: What kind of builder are you for your sims? - BlondBimbo - 18-03-2008 04:36 PM Hi! I love to make a big mansion! And the thing that I love is to decorate the whole thing! ![]() But sometimes I make just normal, realistic houses. -'BlondBimbo Re: What kind of builder are you for your sims? - jsmlw - 18-03-2008 08:22 PM Eh, big houses tend to make things harder in the game. I do the best when I have very tiny house, and juding from my various successes and failures on modthesims2.com, I found that smaller houses tend to "sell" better or download faster. But everyone has their own preference |
