I dunno why you couldn't watch it.  It wasn't bad at all.

I guess because she was a spin-off character from Beevus and Butthead ... and that show was AWFUL.  Simply HORRIBLE.  But, Daria ... soooo much better.

My mom didn't like me watching MTV. Plus, I was 9 or 10. And she still has problems with me watching Family Guy now.

I watched a few episodes of B&BH but ... I could NOT get into it.

My boyfriend at the time and his best friend LOVED the show (must have been a teen guy thing) and always talked like them.  Pissed me off x.x  But, when I saw a spin-off show called Daria, I checked it out.  And that was awesome.

I dunno about the best decision, but definitely a great one :3

I just wish they'd release it on DVD already >_<  LOL  like a complete collection of the show.
