I never followed those shows, by time they came out I was already in my late teens.  I only know of them because of my niece.  She watched them when she was a baby (she's 11 now).

We had to do a mini book report in the style of Reading Rainbow, lol.  They even recorded it and made copies for all the students in the classroom.

I watch it now and go "who was that kid?  I don't remember them ..." o.O
