There's no avoiding it...think of it as putting the threads to good use after they're "finished." When the thread kind of dies, we usually take over with our randomness. I don't think there's a problem with that (in the Off-Topic section, at least).

but i do believe they were discussing weather..and then going off-topic and why we should stay on topic even if in this section of the forums were allowed not to and so on so forth.

Well we kind of have a thread like that...two, actually...actually...all the threads in this section are pretty much random conversations. But people are allowed to post wherever they want, so...
Anyhoo, you should always ignore Leo the Cat's posts...I don't think anyone truly understands what he's talking about...ever... :
